Deputy General Manager

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deriving useful insights from Market/Industry /Competition to enable right business decision on time

• Segment/Product wise industry / competition comparative analysis to predict demand-supply forecasting

• Creation of financial analysis, reports and visualisation for business performance and strategic analysis to recommend opportunities for improvement in overall financial performance (Top line, Bottom line, Contribution Margin)

• Build dynamic financial projections (company / competition) and compare with competition

• Develop the reports and dashboards, data visualisation and analysis based on market research / intelligence to keep track of industry / financial performance

• Formulating variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implement corrective actions.

• Liaison with various research firms / agencies to gather research data, business / industry / competition intelligence to ensure correct predictions / projections

• Should be able to predict / forecast future industry/market/business trends in order to enable faster response market and gain competitive advantage

• Study the best practices, benchmark competition / industry and find opportunities for financial performance improvements

• Closely work with business finance teams

Essential & Desirable Education/Qualifications/ Work experience/technical skills i.e. what are the must haves for this role

1. Functional Knowledge of Skills (Must Have) - Business analytics, Market research, Knowledge of Automobile industry and competitor. Well versed with MS Excel, PPT, various statistical tools and software
2. Leadership Behavior - Agility, Risk Taking, Empowerment, Owners Mindset, Collaboration, Accountability, Passion for Customer, Embracing Diversity
3. Educational Qualification - Qualified CA, or BE (mechanical/automobile ) and MBA (Finance)
4. Technical Skill required - Analytical skills using excel and PowerPoint
5. Experience Required - 10+ years of relevant experience in the field
