Job Description
- As a Lead Associate in Internal Audit at Tata Power Group, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth internal audits across various departments and business units. Your role will involve evaluating operational efficiency, risk management, and control effectiveness. You will develop risk control matrices, assess internal financial controls (IFC), fraud risks, and operational risks across different business functions.
Your duties will include overseeing and reviewing engagement teams, ensuring the end-to-end delivery of audit engagements. You will also utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze large datasets, identify key trends, and provide actionable insights. It will be your responsibility to assess compliance with procedures and ethical standards to align business practices with industry benchmarks.
During audits, you will identify inefficiencies or gaps and recommend practical improvements and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will prepare and deliver comprehensive audit reports to management, highlighting key findings, actionable recommendations, and implications to ensure clarity and prompt decision-making.

To excel in this role, you must possess strong internal audit delivery abilities, exceptional communication and presentation skills, outstanding analytical capabilities, and proficiency in data analytics. Experience with platforms like Alteryx and Power BI will be advantageous. Effective audit management and multitasking skills are essential as you will be managing multiple audits simultaneously and coordinating across teams. This position may require frequent travel within India.,
