Job Description
Role & responsibilities
1. Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential C&I consumers under Open Access.
2. Conduct feasibility and cost-benefit analyses for electricity procurement through Open Access.
3. Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and commercial offers to prospective clients.
4. Coordinate with utilities, SLDCs, and other regulatory authorities for Open Access approvals.
5. Monitor and analyze market trends, power exchange prices, and regulatory updates.
6. Support forecasting and scheduling teams to ensure accurate energy planning and compliance.
7. Maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing support post-contract execution.
8. Work closely with finance and regulatory teams to assess tariff structures and optimize purchase costs.
9. Prepare periodic reports on performance, revenue, and market intelligence.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or related field (MBA in Power Management/Marketing preferred).

- 2–4 years of experience in Open Access marketing, power trading, or C&I energy sales. Knowledge of Open Access mechanisms, power exchanges, and relevant regulations in India.
- Understanding of electrical parameters (CUF, PLF, MUs) and basic finance (interest rates, cost of funds, electricity billing).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Should have strong analytical skills and a team player.
- Willing to relocate at Vijayawada/ Hyderabad/ Bengaluru.
- Should have completed 2 years of experience in the current assignment.
