DB & BI Engineer

We are seeking a creative and skilled Data Visualization Developer to join our team. The Data Visualization Developer will be responsible for designing and developing interactive and visually compelling data visualizations and dashboards to transform complex data into actionable insights.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization techniques, proficiency in data visualization tools, and a passion for presenting data in intuitive and meaningful ways.

• Key Responsibilities:
  

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into visually appealing and interactive data visualizations and dashboards.

• Design and develop data visualizations that effectively communicate complex data concepts and insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Utilize data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js to create dynamic and interactive dashboards and reports.
• Extract and transform data from various sources to ensure accuracy and compatibility with visualization tools. Cleanse and validate data to ensure data integrity and quality in visualizations.
• Work closely with data analysts and data scientists to identify key metrics and performance indicators for reporting and analysis.

• Optimize and fine-tune data visualizations for performance and user experience.
• Stay up to date with the latest data visualization trends, techniques, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data visualizations into applications, websites, or other platforms.
• Provide training and support to users to ensure effective utilization and understanding of data visualizations.
  

Requirements

• BE/BTech/MCA in computer science from reputed college.
• Experience with GCP cloud and BI tools like Looker is a strong plus.
• Proven production level at least 4 years of experience as a Data Visualization Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating interactive and visually appealing data visualizations.

• Project experience of at least 4 years in BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar tools.
• Must have delivered E2E 3-4 projects using data visualization concepts, best practices, and design principles.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and transformation using SQL or other relevant programming languages with minimum 3 years of industry experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into compelling visual stories.
• 3-4 projects experience with data cleansing, data validation, and data quality assurance techniques.
• Knowledge of data analysis and data modeling concepts is desirable.
• Familiarity with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate data-driven insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
