Job Description
Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with project team to optimize cost model of Mega and large projects, ensure the quotation in cost model is the best cost
- Identify NPI Product cost reduction opportunities and options, make risks assessment with relationship to product design, procurement, and manufacturing process
- Make Mega and large project cost roadmap with confidence level, track actual cost after project close and analyze the variance of assumptions of project cost roadmap
- Make Mega and large project cost sensitivity analysis (Volume, Mfg. Location, sourcing strategy)
- Hold weekly team meetings and an actions-oriented team
- General report and Bi-weekly update to global MPDE leaders.
- Provide strong and effective support to cost excellence teams, assisting cost excellence IE deliver successful cost analysis and results.
- Create a work atmosphere conducive to professional growth and development of excellent personnel at all levels. Create training and capability building process and training modules to promote best practices.
- Monitor overall situation, keep close communication with across functions leaders to disclosure high level bottleneck and risk and opportunities , deeply engaged to action plan creating and monitor progression to result.

- Bachelor degree or above
- 8+years experience on NPD project quotation and cost analysis, 3+years experience on people management
- Familiar with general manufacture process of connectors and cable assembly, understand manufacture parameter that impact delivered cost
- Good data analysis skills, ability to think systematically and solve problems
- Good skill of presentation and communication
- Good in oral and written English
- Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel skills. Be familiar with SAP.
