Finance Project Manager & Business Analyst – FIP APAC

Experience: 5-7Years

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis – 70%

• Understand project objectives and gather/document business and user requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and define the target operating model.
• Translate business requirements into clear specifications for IT teams.
• Define testing strategies based on project requirements.
• Design test cases and coordinate UAT activities.
• Validate accounting entries and financial reports during testing.
• Ensure successful UAT sign-off and implementation.

Project Management – 30%

• Manage the complete project lifecycle from initiation through closure.
• Prepare project scope documents, project plans, schedules, and status reports.
• Coordinate effectively with IT, Finance, Operations, PMO, and other stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation plans.
• Track project progress against timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate smooth go-live implementation and provide post-go-live support.
• Present regular project updates to senior management.
• Manage production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate timely resolution.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance projects, financial reporting, or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger and Accounting.
• Good understanding of financial products and financial instruments.
• Knowledge of accounting treatment under IFRS is preferred.
• Experience in Business Analysis and Project Management.
• Knowledge of front-to-back financial operations is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SQL.
