The Role:
At Banyan Software, we acquire and grow exceptional enterprise software businesses for the long term. The Sourcer supports our recruiting and portfolio hiring efforts by identifying, engaging, and qualifying talented candidates for a range of roles. Working closely with recruiters and hiring managers, this individual helps build strong candidate pipelines, delivers a great candidate experience, and contributes to Banyans mission of building lasting, people-first organizations.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, driven, and eager to develop expertise in sourcing strategies, tools, and talent market insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with recruiters to understand hiring needs and target profiles, translating them into effective sourcing strategies.
- Identify and engage potential candidates through a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and talent communities.
- Qualify prospects through initial outreach and screening, ensuring strong alignment with role requirements, team dynamics and company values.
- Maintain accurate data and candidate records in the ATS/CRM and track sourcing progress and results.
- Share talent market insights and sourcing trends with the broader Talent Acquisition team.
- Collaborate on process improvements and support adoption of sourcing tools and technology.
- Represent Banyan Software and its portfolio companies with professionalism, ensuring a positive and consistent candidate experience.
Qualifications for success:
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing or recruiting, preferably within software, technology, or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to research, identify, and engage passive candidates effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with both candidates and internal partners.
- Familiarity with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, and/or CRM/ATS systems.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset, with interest in using data to track progress and improve outcomes.
- Growth-oriented with a desire to learn from peers, take on new challenges, and expand sourcing expertise.
