Network Engineer L2

Position: Network Engineer (L2)

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless networks, and F5 load balancers in enterprise environments.
• Provide 24x7 operational support for network and application delivery infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage and monitor routing and switching protocols like OSPF, BGP, and VLANs.
• Wireless devices configuration and maintenance
  
• Perform routine operations and maintenance, including firmware upgrades, capacity planning, and hardware replacements.
• Assist in implementing and troubleshooting Checkpoint firewalls, F5 BIG-IP solutions, and other security tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to load balancing, SSL offloading, and application delivery.
• Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and escalation processes for complex issues.
• Maintain documentation, including network diagrams, device configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and updates.

• Minimum 4 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of routing & switching, wireless networking (Cisco WLC), and load balancing (F5 BIG-IP LTM/ASM).
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewalls and F5 configurations.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment.
