SAP TRM & Banking Consultant

- Role & Responsibilities :

The SAP Treasury & Banking (TRM) Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Treasury & Risk Management solutions with a focus on Cash Management, Bank Connectivity, Liquidity Forecasting, Payment Processing, and Treasury Risk Management. The role involves enabling real-time cash visibility, seamless bank integrations, financial compliance, and treasury process optimization across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

SAP Treasury Solution Design :

• Design, configure, and implement SAP Treasury & Banking solutions aligned with business and financial objectives.
• Configure Treasury modules for Cash Management, Liquidity Planning, Bank Connectivity, Payments, and Treasury Risk Management.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and compliant treasury solutions across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Recommend best practices for treasury process optimization and automation.

Cash Management & Liquidity :

• Configure and support cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and cash visibility solutions.
• Enable centralized treasury operations and effective working capital management.
• Optimize liquidity planning and cash forecasting processes.
• Ensure accurate cash reporting and treasury analytics.
• Bank Connectivity & Payment Processing :
• Configure secure bank integrations and payment processing solutions.
• Implement Electronic Bank Statements (EBS), Payment Medium Workbench (PMW), and Bank Communication Management (BCM).
• Support SWIFT connectivity and automated payment processing.
• Ensure secure and compliant banking operations.

Treasury Risk Management :

• Configure Treasury Risk Management processes including money market, foreign exchange, debt management, and financial risk controls.
• Support treasury accounting, exposure management, and hedge management processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial governance and regulatory standards.
• Assist in treasury reporting and audit requirements.

SAP Integration & Support :

• Collaborate with SAP FI, CO, MM, SD, and technical teams to deliver integrated treasury solutions.
• Support end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
• Conduct system testing, user training, and documentation.
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration :
• Work closely with business users, finance teams, treasury stakeholders, and project managers.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and solution demonstrations.
• Prepare functional specifications and support technical development teams.
• Provide knowledge transfer, mentoring, and post-go-live support.

Mandatory Skills :

• 7-12 years of experience as an SAP Treasury & Banking (TRM) Consultant.
• Strong expertise in SAP Cash Management, Bank Connectivity, Payments, Liquidity Forecasting, and Treasury Risk Management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Treasury solutions.
• Experience configuring Electronic Bank Statements (EBS), Payment Medium Workbench (PMW), and Bank Communication Management (BCM).
• Strong understanding of treasury operations, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience integrating SAP Treasury with SAP FI and related finance modules.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with SAP FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management).
• Knowledge of SWIFT integration and advanced banking communication.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• SAP Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) Certification.
• Experience in global treasury transformation or multi-country SAP implementation projects.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and SAP Activate.
