Job Title: L3 Storage Support Engineer

Location: Mumbai and Navi Mumbai (Hybrid model)

Contract Duration: 3+ years

• 
  Experienced in deploying and administering NetApp Storage (CDOT and 7-Mode), including troubleshooting performance issues, firmware and OS upgrades, and storage management tools: OnCommand Unified Manager, Performance Manager, and Insight, and managing backup integration with NetApp technologies.
• Proficient understanding of NetApp Storage concepts and technologies: Snapshots, controller failover, provisioning, deduplication, cloning, SnapMirror, and IntelliSnap — including monitoring, troubleshooting, replication, security hardening, and performance tuning.
• Experience with additional NetApp platforms — StorageGRID, E-Series, or SolidFire — would be highly regarded.
• Experience with automation tools such as NetApp Workflow Automation and Ansible.
• Experience writing basic PowerShell or Python scripts would be beneficial.
• Strong understanding of storage protocols and technologies: Fibre Channel, CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and S3 Object.
• Experience with data migration from third-party systems to NetApp, including host and application-level migration.

• Expertise in Brocade or Cisco SAN switch administration, troubleshooting SAN connectivity, SAN zoning, and firmware upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of FC and IP-based storage replication.
• Experience in Windows and Linux System Administration.
• Working knowledge of monitoring platforms, WANs, SANs, backup, and disaster recovery platforms.
• Knowledge of ITIL methodologies: change, incident, problem, and configuration management.
• Experience with infrastructure design, build, deployment, and disaster recovery testing.
• Understanding of compute, virtualization, and networking components: NetApp/Cisco FlexPod architecture, Cisco UCS, IBM Blade Center, System X, VMware vSphere, Microsoft OS and Applications, and Commvault.
