Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP BRIM Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep functional and hands-on expertise across SAP BRIM modules and SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes, subscription and usage-based billing, and SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) aligned with ASC 606 revenue standards. This role involves leading and contributing to large-scale SAP BRIM implementations, integrations, and revenue transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an SME for SAP BRIM, providing expert guidance across Subscription Billing, Revenue Management, Convergent Charging (CC), and Convergent Invoicing (CI).
- Design and implement end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) solutions integrated with SAP RAR for compliant revenue recognition under ASC 606.
- Lead SAP RAR configuration, including revenue contracts, POBs, event-based postings, and integration with upstream Q2C processes.
- Drive solution design and hands-on configuration across SAP BRIM components:
- Subscription Order Management (SOM)
- Convergent Charging (CC)
- Convergent Invoicing (CI)

- Convergent Mediation (CM)
- Contract Accounting (FI-CA)
- Design and implement complex revenue and billing models, including:
- Subscription-based billing
- Usage-based and consumption billing
- Overage and burn-down models
- Hybrid pricing and rate structures
- Design complex charge plans, rate plans, and real-time rating scenarios in Convergent Charging.
- Ensure seamless integration of BRIM with SAP S/4HANA, including relevant S/4 modules and SAP Project Systems (PS) where applicable.
- Lead and participate in full-lifecycle SAP implementations, including:
- Requirements gathering and solution design
- Functional configuration
- Testing (Unit, Integration, UAT)
- Cutover and deployment
- Drive integration of SAP BRIM with external systems such as CRM, CPQ, CLM, EMS, middleware, and other non-SAP platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and compliant solutions.
- Provide thought leadership, best practices, and mentoring to project teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of overall SAP experience, with strong focus on Quote-to-Cash processes.
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP BRIM implementation experience.
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP BRIM modules: SOM, CC, CI, CM, FI-CA.
- Deep hands-on expertise in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Proven experience integrating Q2C processes with SAP RAR.
- Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and integrations.
- Experience working on multiple end-to-end SAP BRIM implementations.
- Strong functional configuration, solution design, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
