What To Expect

Tesla is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our Energy sales team in Abu Dhabi. You will own customer engagement, sales, and contracting for Megapack battery energy storage systems and related services across priority markets including the Middle East, Europe, and India.

From early development through contract execution, you will close complex deals with utilities, government entities, IPPs, and major industrial developers — Coordinate with different teams spanning engineering, operations, finance, service, and legal. As these markets accelerate renewables, grid modernization, and large-load growth, you will help scale grid-scale storage deployment.

What You'll Do

  • Drive negotiation and contracting of equipment supply, EPC, O&M, and related software agreements
  • Deliver sales targets by managing a multi-country pipeline across varied timelines and project types
  • Build and grow relationships with IPPs, developers, utilities, government entities, and industrial customers
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on scope, terms, and pricing that meet customer needs and protect Tesla's interests
  • Contribute to tender strategy and responses with Tesla's Bid Team
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and report progress to management
  • Assess market dynamics and share insights that shape effective go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering and regional teams to align technical and commercial positioning

    • What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years in sales or account management in utility-scale generation, transmission, or storage, with knowledge of and experience in European and Middle East energy markets
  • Proven expertise structuring and leading complex negotiations in energy, construction, project finance, or a related field
  • Ability to identify problems, lead deals, and deliver pragmatic solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with customers and internal teams
  • Fluency in English; Arabic or other European languages are an advantage
  • Based in Abu Dhabi, with 50% regional and international travel
