Senior Finance Manager - D2C - CA

Position : Senior Finance Manager
Location : Mumbai
Job Purpose :
The Senior Finance Manager will be part of the Leadership Team and will manage the complete end-to-end finance function, including financial reporting, bookkeeping, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and business analysis.
Key Responsibilities :
- Advise the CEO on all finance and capital-related matters, including best practices.
- Play a critical role in driving overall profitability of the organization.
- Develop monthly MIS and detailed reports on sales, inventory, and cash flow; present key operating metrics to board/investors.

- Maintain monthly books of accounts and ensure timely closure using Tally.
- Manage all tax-related compliances including TDS, TCS, GST, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Monitor internal controls and ensure adherence to budgeted costs.
- Prepare and circulate periodic financial reports to stakeholders.
- Track and analyze cash flow, including variance/deviation analysis.
- Oversee working capital management, including vendor payments and cash flow planning.
- Lead vendor negotiations to optimize costs.
- Handle matters related to fundraising, due diligence, and debt management.
- Ensure reconciliations for sales, payables, and receivables.
- Manage payroll, employee reimbursements, depreciation, and accruals.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA-2018-2023 batch only) with 3-7 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- First attempt CA qualification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and auditing techniques.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel is required.
- Experience in D2C brands or digital ecosystem companies will be preferred.
