Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Ensure compliance with AERB regulations and licensing requirements for all radiation facilities.
Conduct periodic radiation surveys and contamination checks in controlled and supervised areas.
Monitor personnel exposure using TLD badges and maintain dose records.
Ensure proper installation, calibration, and functioning of radiation-generating equipment.
Supervise safe storage, usage, and disposal of radioactive sources and waste.
Train and sensitize hospital staff on radiation protection practices and emergency procedures.
Maintain and update all statutory documents, logbooks, and radiation safety manuals.
Liaise with AERB for approvals, renewals, and inspection coordination.

Preferred candidate profile
Postgraduate degree/diploma in Medical Physics
AERB-approved RSO Level 3 certification
