Business Analyst, Power BI

The Face Shop is a leading brand in the D2C and e-commerce beauty segment, dedicated to providing high-quality, natural products. We are looking for a highly skilled and analytical Business Analyst with Power BI experience to join our data team and transform complex business data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and optimize business performance across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain highly interactive, visually appealing, and performance-optimized Power BI dashboards and reports to meet the needs of various business stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, etc.).

• Data Modeling & Transformation: Connect to, ingest, and transform large, complex datasets from diverse sources, including:

• Multiple Marketplace data (e.g., Amazon, Nykaa, etc.). Marketing platforms (e.g., Meta/Facebook Ads, Google Ads). Demand Forecasting models and outputs.

• 
  Data Engineering Support: Utilize Python for advanced data manipulation, scripting, cleaning, and preparation necessary for Power BI data models.

• Database Management: Write complex, optimized queries using SQL/MySQL to extract and manage data from various databases and data warehouses.

• Data Warehouse Proficiency: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts (ETL/ELT processes, Dimensional Modeling, Star/Snowflake schemas) to ensure efficient data structure for BI reporting.

• Advanced Analytics: Collaborate with data science teams to integrate outputs from AI/ML models into interactive dashboards, specifically focusing on metrics like Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), churn prediction, and advanced demand forecasting visualization.

• AI/ML Knowledge: Possess a foundational understanding of AI concepts and Machine Learning (ML) pipelines to effectively interpret and present predictive/prescriptive insights.

• Optimization & Governance: Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance within the Power BI environment; optimize DAX calculations and data refresh processes for speed and reliability.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Power BI Developer or a similar role.
• Domain Expertise: Proven working experience within the D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) and E-commerce industry.
• Power BI Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Power BI Desktop (DAX, M-Query, Data Modeling) and Power BI Service (Deployment, Security, and Governance).
• Technical Stack: Strong command of Python for data processing and scripting, and expert ability to write complex, efficient SQL/MySQL queries.
• Data Handling: Experience handling and integrating large-scale datasets from disparate sources, including the unique challenges of integrating marketplace and ad-spend data.

Location: Worli, Mumbai (Next to Acharya Atre Chowk Metro Station, Aqua Line)

Working Days: 5 Days a Week + 1 Working Saturday (3rd Saturday of Every Month)
