Chief Technical Officer/Co-founder

For a EdTech company that works with schools to teach students about sustainability in a practical way. Instead of just theory, students take part in real activities like eco-challenges and track their impact.
MAIN ASK for the ROLE
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on CTO to lead the technology vision and execution for a fast-growing EdTech platform. The role involves building scalable learning systems, driving product innovation, and leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and developments
Consolidate our technology platforms and create plans for each

- Spearhead IT projects to increase our market reach and improve our USP
- Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
- Larger view on existing platform to enhance its functionality, ensure scalability from infrastructure view point and performance optimization, improve UX, availability of system
Ensure quality of system
- Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
- Vendor management to define requirements from them, negotiate, track progress
- Implement data-driven decision-making (AI/ML, analytics for learning outcomes)
Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and security
DESIRED Profile :
- BE with 8 years + experience with skills like React, Java, Azure background
- Ability to manage team by guiding them technically on above tech areas
- Entrepreneurial mindset (Most important)- willingness to work in a growing startup. Ready to "accept challenges" and "solve them himself" like - self driven for tech and UX improvement,
- Take charge when system is going through a problem/ system is up and running,
Compensation : Fixed + Equity model
