Role : QC Associate Location : Chennai - Avadi

Overview: As a Quality Control Specialist at The Indus Valley, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and integrity in our health-focused cookware products. You will be a key contributor to our mission of infusing every kitchen with goodness and transforming cooking into a health-oriented experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance: Execute comprehensive quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished cookware products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications.

2. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for enhancing product quality, streamlining manufacturing processes, and reducing defects or discrepancies.

3. Testing Protocols: Develop and implement testing protocols, including heat resistance, durability, and safety evaluations, to ascertain the reliability and health-centric nature of our cookware.

4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of quality assessments, testing results, and corrective actions taken. Generate detailed reports highlighting quality metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.

5. Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality and integrity of raw materials used in cookware manufacturing, conducting audits, and implementing quality control measures in the supply chain.

6. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company- defined quality protocols in all aspects of product development and manufacturing.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, design, and R&D to align on quality standards, product specifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.

8. Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to production teams on quality control procedures, best practices, and the significance of maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

2. Proven experience minimum 1 year in quality control, preferably in the cookware or related manufacturing industry.

3. In-depth knowledge of quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, and manufacturing processes specific to cookware.

4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify defects, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.

6. Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate documentation and records.

7. Problem-solving abilities to address quality issues and implement effective

solutions.
