Job description

The candidate for the position leads and supports a sales team to drive revenue and achieve sales targets by developing and executing strategies, managing client relationships, conducting market research, and collaborating with internal departments. Key responsibilities include setting goals, mentoring staff, analyzing market trends, building partnerships, overseeing the sales process from prospect to closure, and reporting performance to senior management.

Key Roles & Responsibilities.

Client & Market Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Manage customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and channel partners.

Should have Govt and Defense Business Experience

Reporting & Analysis:

Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.

Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance insights to senior management.

Manage forecast projections and business development activity reports.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., QA/QC, Production, R&D & Other Production linked Plants) to ensure alignment and support for sales efforts.

Language: Tamil, English & Hindi mandatory

Educational Qualification: BE (MBA is a plus)

Should have 25+ yrs of Industrial Sales & Business Development Experience and minimum 10yrs in leadership position.

Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft office Suite.
