Job Description
Position at Star Mumbai Office to manage Record to Report (R2R), for Studios revenue team (India Markets) for Accounting, Quarterly Closing, Controllership, Audits & MIS reporting, automation, process improvement and control checks for Revenue area. This position has been created at Mumbai office as a part of the Controllership team, India at Mumbai office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate & timely accounting.
- Prepare & review monthly balance sheet schedules relating to revenue & receivables.
- Prepare Producer participation statement for the films.
- Read / review Producer & revenue contracts. To understand relevant terms in producer contract and understand respective impact on producer cost. Under revenue recognition and accounting in compliance with ASC606 in revenue contracts.
- Responsible for quarterly closures including preparing schedules, COC & revenue disclosure requirements.
- Responsible for controllership schedules and accounting.
- Prepare/Assist in preparation of various details for Internal Audit, Statutory & Management Audit relating to revenue / receivables & ensure timely audit closure.

- Interfacing & co-ordination with business teams, tech teams for process improvements & assignments relating to revenue, report requirements, automation, and new system implementation.
- Ensure SLAs are met for accounting & reporting including compliance of company’s policies.
- Data to tax team for tax filings i.e. GST, WHT and co-ordinate with the tax team and respond to various tax audit queries etc.
- SOX audit Compliance.
