About the Role

Data Patterns (India) Limited is seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager – Finance & Accounts to lead the finance function of a rapidly growing technology-driven manufacturing organization. This leadership role requires deep expertise in financial planning, factory accounting, costing, treasury management, statutory compliance, project accounting, and ERP-enabled financial transformation.

Candidates from Defence, Aerospace, Strategic Electronics, Engineering Manufacturing, Industrial Manufacturing, or Capital Equipment industries will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• 
  Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and provide actionable business insights.
• Manage project accounting, including Percentage of Completion (PoC) accounting for long-term contracts.

Costing & Inventory Management

• Drive product costing and standard costing processes.
• Monitor inventory valuation, manufacturing costs, and WIP controls.
• Improve cost visibility and profitability analysis across projects and product lines.

Compliance & Financial Governance

• Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, Customs, and statutory regulations.
• Lead preparation of financial statements as per Ind AS.
• Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and IFC compliance.

Treasury & Working Capital Management

• Oversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Manage banking relationships, working capital facilities, LCs, and Bank Guarantees.
• Optimize cash conversion cycles and working capital efficiency.

Strategic Finance Leadership

• Partner with Manufacturing, Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support strategic decision-making through financial insights.
• Lead ERP finance transformation initiatives (SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
• CMA/ICWA – Preferred
• 18–20 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts
• Experience in manufacturing, defence, aerospace, electronics, engineering, or industrial sectors preferred
