Role Summary:

This job takes the lead in providing more complex application development services typically as part of a project team or in an application support role. Developers analyze, design, code, test and implement more complex systematic solutions to meet customer requirements that adhere to Highmark IT standards and policies. Developers provide general support to maintain more complex applications that meet the service levels, system availability, performance and quality levels required by their customers. May mentor less experienced team members.

JOB SUMMARY

This job gives an opportunity to work in a challenging environment to deliver high quality Solutions to meet the demands for our Global Customer. An ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and good knowledge on Infrastructure as a Code to support our future GCP environments. The candidate should be able to manage the end-to-end need of the environments from monitoring to maintenance and reporting. Should be an excellent Team player & have excellent Problem solving & communication skills.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The role requires technical and solution orientation. The role possesses critical thinking skills and strong R or Python knowledge for the GCP platforms.

EDUCATION

Required

• Any Degree

EXPERIENCE

Required

• Strong knowledge on GCP platform, R or Python

Preferred

• Strong experience on any programming language R or Python.


• Good experience on any cloud provider like aws, azure or GCP (preferably GCP)


• knowledge on cloud development (CI/CD)


• strong knowledge on network, storage, and cloud services


• Infrastructure planning, testing, and development. (e.g., creating new instance on cloud)


• Should have knowledge on automations through Python.


• Experience on reporting, automation and monitoring the environments.


• Willing to work around the clock.

Other Qualifications

• Working Knowledge on Linux servers


• Knowledge on any cloud provider (preferably GCP)
