Director - Operations/P&L - EdTech/Career Platform

We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Director Operations to lead end-to-end business performance for a fast-scaling AI-powered edtech and career platform.
This role will own P&L, revenue growth, platform operations, and business scalability, while ensuring seamless delivery across learning, mentorship, and talent marketplace offerings.
The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership, revenue ownership, and deep understanding of edtech or digital platform ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business & P&L Ownership:
- Own and drive end-to-end P&L, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
- Define revenue strategy across learning programs (B2C), enterprise solutions (B2B hiring, SaaS tools), and partnerships.
- Drive top-line growth, margins, and cost optimization.

2. Operations Leadership:
- Lead platform operations across learning, mentorship, and hiring ecosystem.
- Build scalable processes to handle user growth, enterprise clients, and content delivery.
- Define and track KPIs: CAC, LTV, retention, engagement, course completion, placement success.
3. Revenue & Growth Strategy:
- Design and execute multi-channel growth strategies.
- Scale course enrollments, subscription models, and employer partnerships.
- Identify and launch new revenue streams.
4. Product & Platform Collaboration:
- Partner with Product & Tech teams to enhance AI-driven personalization, improve conversion funnels, and optimize learning-to-earning pathways.
5. Market Expansion & Partnerships:
- Build strategic partnerships with universities, colleges, and corporate hiring partners.
6. Team Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional teams (Operations, Growth, Partnerships, Customer Success).
- Build a high-performance, data-driven culture.
Candidate Profile:
- 12-18+ years overall experience.
- 5+ years in leadership roles with P&L ownership.
- Prior experience in EdTech, Learning Platforms, Marketplaces, or HR Tech.
- Strong P&L management, revenue ownership, and data-driven decision-making mindset.
