Job Description
Position Purpose
Responsible for acquiring high-end Current and Savings Accounts (CASA) through open market channels and cross-selling additional banking products.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire new high-end Current Accounts and Savings Accounts through open market lead generation and achieve monthly CASA targets, ensuring adherence to KYC and AML guidelines.
- Ensure smooth customer onboarding and seamless handover to the branch banking team.
- Drive customer activation by ensuring account balances and transactions begin within the first month/quarter. Activation targets:
- 80% customers maintaining required AQB
- 75% penetration of internet banking
- 50% penetration of DSB
- Conduct regular activities for lead generation.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities by generating leads, handling basic queries, and coordinating with Branch Manager and product teams (Trade, FX, CMS, DSB, etc.) to offer suitable business solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualification: Graduate
Preferred Qualification: MBA with IRDA certification
Experience Required:
- 1-5 years of experience in new-to-bank current account acquisition, preferably in the SME segment
- Strong understanding of commercial catchments and business segments
