Role Overview

The Finance & Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial controls.

The role involves managing day-to day accounting activities, supervising tax and accounting teams, coordinating audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory and financial regulations including GST and IFRS. The incumbent will also play a key role in strengthening financial systems, policies, and internal controls.

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Finance and Accounts department, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting processes.

- Ensure proper recording, classification, and reconciliation of financial transactions in line with accounting standards.

- Monitor financial processes and ensure adherence to internal financial controls.

- Prepare, review, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Generate financial reports and MIS for management decision-making.

- Analyze financial performance and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities to senior management.

- Coordinate and lead the annual statutory audit process and liaise with external auditors.

- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and statutory requirements including IFRS.

- Support internal audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.

- Manage GST compliance including filings, reconciliations, and documentation.

- Handle GST assessments and ensure compliance with evolving GST regulations.

- Work closely with tax consultants and authorities during audits, assessments, and regulatory reviews.

- Develop, implement, and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems.

- Ensure proper utilization and compliance within ERP systems such as SAP for financial processes.

- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within finance operations.

- Supervise, guide, and mentor tax and accounting staff to ensure efficient team performance.

- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team productivity and compliance with deadlines.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment within the finance function.
