Hiring Copyeditors - Hybrid

• Involved in medium-level copyediting of an article independently as per the journal/Book and / or publisher expectations
• While editing, check and correct punctuations, spellings, and subject-verb agreement
• Responsible to communicate with other departments such as graphics (for figure edits) and login/production (clarification about an article in progress) for possible editing needs
  
• Responsible for error free output to ensure quality standards
• Responsible for doing regular checks of files copyedited by the Editor trainees and give them appropriate feedback
• Shall help the team improve quality/productivity

Candidate Profile

• Any Graduate with 2 to 6 years of experience in Copyediting Books / Journals for any reputed STM Publisher
• Excellent English skills (verbal and written), good eye for detail and proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Enthusiastic learner, ideally with a passion for reading
• Should be willing to work in rotational shifts
• Capable of training juniors on various topics relevant to business
