Maintenance Reliability Engineer

This job description is designed for a Product Reliability Testing Executive with at least 2 years of

experience and a Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. The role includes hands-on work in

vibration, thermal testing, test planning, sample validation, and report review and creation, with an

emphasis on vendor and customer communication. A basic understanding of international

standards like MIL-STD-810, ISO, IEC, JSS & Do-160 is required, and the candidate should be familiar

with vibration fixture modification and troubleshooting. This position offers an opportunity for

practical experience in product testing and collaboration with engineering and customer teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Familiarity with product reliability standards, including MIL, ISO, IEC, JSS and DO-160.

2. Prepare detailed test reports documenting test objectives, procedures, data, results, and

analysis.

3. Review test reports to ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness before submission to

internal teams or customers

4. Follow up on bugs with developers and ensure bugs are fixed before delivery.

5. Work with the engineering team to suggest and implement improvements to vibration test

fixtures or test setups.

6. Documenting and Reporting Technical Issues.

7. Develop effective strategies and test plans and scenarios.

8. Identify new use cases with developers and communicate effectively with the technical team.

Qualifications:

1. Education: A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in reliability testing, with a focus on

vibration testing and test sample validation. Analytical mind, and problem-solving aptitude.

3. Manual testing of products.

4. General familiarity with common software development like MS Excel and MS Word.
