Trade Compliance Analyst

Tooltech Global Engineering are seeking for Trade compliance analyst Profile. We have requirement for our Bangalore base client. The Shortlisted Employee will be placed in Bangalore on our company role and he will be reporting to his manager sitting in Bangalore it is for one of the Heavy construction Machinery Manufacturer .

Job description & Mission

• Support GTC organization activities to all businesses across Trade Classification, Export controls, Sanctions
• Accurately classify products using the Harmonized System (HS) for global import and export transactions.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and support organizational objectives in international trade compliance.
• Analyze product specifications, technical documents, drawing interpretation and Bills of Materials (BOM) to determine appropriate HS codes.
• Assign HS codes based on GRI, Section Notes, Chapter Notes, and Explanatory Notes.
• Ensure product classification with global customs regulations (e.g., US HTS, EU CN, WCO HS, India HSN etc.).
• 
  Support ISO, Customs audits related to trade compliance and document rationale for classifications
• Contribute to classification process improvement initiatives, automation, and standardization projects.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on HS classification principles and procedures
• Experience of building and maintaining Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets. Using macros would be a plus

Experience requirements

3 to 4 years of experience in the engineering industry

Skill & Knowledge

• Technical knowledge of mechanical/hydraulic/Electrical components and their application to use in Mining or construction products
• Familiar with various trade compliance regulations and customs Tariff classification
• Proficiency in using classification tools and databases (e.g., Customs Rulings Online Search System, Binding Tariff Information databases)
• Knowledge of classification, harmonization, screening and obsolescence
• Strong attention to detail and regulatory awareness.
• Good in Microsoft excel and ERP tools

Educational requirements

B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics Engineering
