Job Description
- The Data Engineer position at Toro Technology Center India involves playing a crucial role in facilitating the capture, ingestion, and transformation of data to provide data assets for driving business decisions. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing and maintaining data pipelines, and ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of data, you will contribute to the success and growth of The Toro Company.
To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in data engineering. Proficiency in SQL, programming languages such as Python or JavaScript, and experience with cloud-based data platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, are essential requirements for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Fivetran and dbt.
- Implement and maintain the Snowflake data warehouse.
- Work closely with data science and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility while adhering to security protocols.
- Create and maintain documentation of data pipeline processes and procedures.
