Role Overview:
As a Director or Senior Manager in Financial Due Diligence, you will serve as a strategic advisor guiding them through complex M&A transactions. Your day-to-day involves leading high-stakes financial investigations, analyzing quality of earnings, and identifying critical value drivers or risks that influence deal pricing. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional deal teams to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, directly impacting the success of multi-million dollar investments and shaping the long-term growth trajectory of our clients' portfolios. This role is based in Mumbai and requires a leader capable of driving excellence in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end financial due diligence engagements by managing the entire lifecycle of the transaction, ensuring that all financial risks and opportunities are clearly articulated to clients to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Exposure to Infrastructure Sector.
- Mentor and develop high-performing teams by providing technical guidance on complex accounting matters and transaction structuring, fostering a culture of professional growth and high-quality delivery.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at private equity houses and corporate clients, positioning the firm as a trusted partner for all transaction advisory needs.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Financial Due Diligence and Transaction Advisory, with a proven track record of managing complex buy-side and sell-side engagements for diverse industry sectors.

- Exhibit exceptional analytical prowess, specifically in evaluating Quality of Earnings (QofE), working capital requirements, and net debt adjustments to provide a rigorous assessment of target companies.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to navigate high-pressure negotiations and present complex financial insights to C-suite executives and investment partners with confidence.
- Maintain a professional qualification such as CA, which serves as the foundation for your technical financial acumen.
- Show a high degree of adaptability and leadership in a hybrid work environment, effectively managing remote and on-site teams to meet aggressive deal timelines in the Mumbai market.
- Possess 9 - 15 years of relevant experience in a Big 4 or top-tier transaction advisory firm, demonstrating a consistent history of delivering value in the M&A ecosystem.
