Job Description

As a Senior Full Stack Developer with a focus on Node.js and React, you will be responsible for owning features end-to-end, collaborating with leadership, and leveraging modern development practices, including AI, to build fast, clean, and scalable systems. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the CTO and Project Operations Lead, playing a vital role in establishing core tech foundations. This role goes beyond basic development as you will be contributing to building teams, workflows, and systems that can scale effectively.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining secure and scalable REST APIs using Node.js, building clean and responsive frontend UIs with React.js, and managing data using MongoDB or similar databases. Additionally, you will be expected to secure API endpoints with proper authentication, input validation, and rate limiting. Leveraging AI tools such as Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT to write and test code efficiently will be a key aspect of your work.
You should have at least 4 years of real-world experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong proficiency in Node.js, React.js, and MongoDB. Familiarity with modern backend frameworks, API security best practices, and Git-based workflows is essential. You should also be comfortable with asynchronous team collaboration and willing to optimize workflows using AI tools.

Bonus skills that would be beneficial for this role include experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, or Typescript, exposure to serverless platforms, authentication integrations, backend testing or monitoring tools, and a basic understanding of DevOps practices such as CI/CD and deployments.
