Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js + React, AI-First Approach)

Location: Mumbai (In-office for first few months, then hybrid)

About the role - Were looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who can own features end-to-end, collaborate with leadership, and use modern dev practices (including AI) to build fast, clean, and scalable systems. Youll be working directly with the CTO and Project Operations Lead and will play a key role in building core tech foundations. Were not just building apps were building teams, workflows, and systems that scale. Youll be expected to bring experience, initiative, and the mindset to go beyond basic development.

What Youll Do -

Develop and maintain secure, scalable REST APIs using Node.js (your choice of framework not limited to Express)

Build clean and responsive frontend UIs using React.js

Structure, query, and manage data using MongoDB or similar databases.

Secure API endpoints with proper auth, input validation, rate limiting, etc.

Integrate with third-party APIs (SaaS tools, payments, analytics, etc.) Collaborate closely with the CTO and Ops team on feature design, timelines, and reviews.

Use AI tools (like

Follow Git-based workflows with structured PRs and code reviews.

Must-Have Skills -

4+ years of real-world experience as a Full Stack Developer.

Strong in Node.js, React.js, and MongoDB.

Familiarity with modern backend frameworks or serverless patterns.

Solid understanding of API security best practices.

Comfortable with Git, project boards, and async team collaboration Willingness to adopt and optimize workflows using AI tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Bonus Skills

Experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, or Typescript.

Exposure to serverless platforms (AWS Lambda, Pipedream, Vercel Functions)-

Auth integrations (JWT, OAuth2, social logins)

Basic experience with backend testing or monitoring tools

Understanding of basic DevOps (CI/CD, deployments)
