Job Overview
Trident Dispatch is seeking a talented Fabrication Engineer to join our team. As a Fabrication Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication process of metal components, ensuring quality and accuracy. This is a full-time position based in Siliguri, West Bengal, India.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in fabrication engineering
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
- Knowledge of materials specification and selection
- Experience operating flame cutting and welding equipment
- Ability to prepare metal components for fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the fabrication process of metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Select and procure appropriate materials for fabrication
- Operate flame cutting and welding equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and guidelines
- Conduct quality checks on fabricated components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project deadlines
- Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of fabrication activities
