Job Description

The Business Development Manager has a pivotal role focused on driving growth and building strong relationships with builders, developers and Architects within an assigned territory.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that align with company goals, ensuring that their products meet the unique needs of the builder segment. This role requires a dynamic sales professional with deep industry knowledge, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven ability to drive results.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential builder partners, developers and Architects to expand the company's footprint within the assigned territory

- Relationship Development: Cultivate and strengthen relationships within the assigned geography, positioning the company as a trusted partner and preferred supplier.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to grow market share, increase product penetration, and achieve revenue goals within the builder, developer and Architect segments.
- Account Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of builder accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty through regular communication, support, and problem resolution.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the assigned geography to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure that customer needs are met
- Sales Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts, set performance goals, and track progress against targets
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product offerings and how they can meet the specific needs of builders & architects providing guidance and support to customers as needed.
- Travel: Travel within the assigned territory to meet with builder partners, attend industry events, and support regional sales initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience within the Ceramic Tiles, Quartz, Marble, Surfaces or Big Slabs
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and the specific needs of the builder segment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address and resolve customer issues and challenges promptly and effectively.
