HR Recruiter (Contract Role)

Job Purpose:

HR recruiters are responsible for the entire recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs to hiring and onboarding new employees. Their core duties include sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and extending job offers. They also manage applicant tracking, maintain candidate records.

Key roles and responsibilities

• Strategy and planning: Develop and implement recruitment plans and strategies to attract qualified candidates.

  Job Portal posting: Write and update job descriptions and post them across various channels like job boards and social media.
• Candidate sourcing: Find potential candidates through various sources, including professional networking sites and social media.
• Screening and assessment: Review resumes and applications to screen for qualified candidates and may conduct initial phone or video interviews.
• Interview coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

  Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, provide updates, and manage the offer and negotiation stages.
• Hiring manager collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide regular updates on the recruitment progress.
• Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of applicants and recruitment activities using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Employer branding: Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top talent and promote the company's culture and values.
