Manager - Production, TPI Avadi

Role & responsibilities

The role holder is responsible for manufacturing products through focusing on Furnace Productivity, Quality Improvement - Customer & In-house Rejections Reduction, Consumables Cost Reduction, Increase in OEE, Reduction in Injuries, Tooling Maintenance, Despatch Adherence, Setup Time Reduction and Achieving Norms in all Equipment's through the established manufacturing processes and team work and in order to meet-up business requirements

1)Produce Components as per LTS (Log Term Settlement) norms, Focus on Productivity - Setting Time Reduction, Ensure that all equipment are functioning as per norms (output), Maintain zero reportable incidents / accidents in the respective work stations and with the support of shop-floor team

2)Focus to enhance the Quality Performance by implementing TQM Tools (SOP, PMC & FO), Reduce in-plant Rejections and Dedicates time to reduce rejection at Customers' end - Strive to achieve zero weld crack in finished components to achieve Customer's Delight

3)Practice TQM culture and Participate in SGAs and CFT to value add in the projects pertaining to 'Cost Reduction' and achieve the best results in OEE, Power and Store Consumables in order to meet the business needs

4)Drive Safety Culture with the support of SHE Team to achieve 'Zero Reportable Manpower Hours Loss' and bring in-depth awareness among NMS, Trainees and CL about Near Miss, Unsafe Condition and Unsafe Act

5)Motivate and sustain the energy level of Production Team to support and achieve the set target of production, quality, cost and Despatch, through continuous Training on Safety, Leadership Skills, Product Application, Quality Systems, Importance of Tooling, Maintenance Systems, Inventory Monitoring Process and Team Work
