Job Description
- The VB.NET Developer plays a critical role in the software development team by designing, developing, and maintaining applications tailored to meet the specific needs of users within the organization. Leveraging VB.NET as a primary programming language, you will create efficient and scalable solutions ensuring compatibility and performance across different platforms. Collaborating closely with business analysts and stakeholders, you will gather requirements, define project scopes, and create detailed technical documentation. Your problem-solving skills will be instrumental in identifying and remedying issues within existing applications to enhance overall productivity. Your contributions are vital to ensure technological capabilities align with business objectives in the ever-growing demand for robust software applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement software applications using VB.NET.
Collaborate with software architects and business analysts to understand project requirements.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code to enhance application performance.
Modify existing applications and troubleshoot issues promptly.
Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality.
Integrate applications with databases and external APIs as needed.
Participate in code reviews and recommend improvements to code quality.
Document application processes, including technical specifications and user guides.
Assist in the deployment of applications and updates in a production environment.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project features.
Define and ensure adherence to software development best practices.
Provide technical support and training to end-users when necessary.
Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve development processes.
Assist in the estimation of project timelines and resource requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven experience as a VB.NET Developer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of the .NET framework and ASP.NET.
Proficiency in SQL databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
Familiarity with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
