Job Description
- Role Overview:
As a Project Scheduler in the construction industry, your main responsibility will be to prepare and gather all necessary data and information for effective planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling the execution of project activities. You will be required to prepare construction schedules using MS Projects, as well as other planning documents such as Progress S Curve, Earn Value Curve, and Manpower Histogram. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing project cash flows, estimated budgets, and resource planning in Excel & MS Project for manpower and material. Your role will also involve calculating the efficiency of manpower and equipment utilization based on actual progress and manpower.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and gather all data and information required for effective planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling project activities
- Create construction schedules using MS Projects and other planning documents like Progress S Curve, Earn Value Curve, and Manpower Histogram
- Develop project cash flow and estimated budget
- Plan resources (men & material) in Excel & MS Project and track regularly
- Calculate efficiency of manpower and utilization factors of deployed equipment based on actual progress
- Identify the critical path of the project, monitor regularly, and prepare schedule impact reports for project management
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding construction activities, material, and equipment availability
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry
