Umicore India Pvt Ltd is looking for suitable candidates for an opening for the role of Executive - Accounting and Finance in our Mumbai office. We are seeking a dynamic and skilled professional to join our UMS India team, reporting to the Deputy Manager - Finance.
Role Overview
As the Executive - Accounting and Finance, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and consolidating transactions. Your contribution will be key in our collaborative team environment, helping us achieve our strategic financial goals.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  Accounting Compliance: Uphold our accounting policies and meet regulatory requirements within both global and local timelines.
• Working Capital & Transaction Management: Ensure effective maintenance and documentation of transactions, and manage payment cycles for optimal working capital.
• Reporting: Prepare and present timely financial reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual), including profit and loss statements.
• Financial Coordination: Oversee bank transactions and liaise with financial institutions.
• Audit and Compliance: Support audit preparations and adhere to financial regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members, especially during month-end closing, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform additional tasks as required by the business and country head.
  

Key Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-4 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint; Power BI knowledge advantageous.
