Job Description

Role Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven partnerships leader to build and scale strategic alliances across the Banking, Financial Services, and Fintech ecosystem. The role will focus on developing high-impact partnerships with Banks, NBFCs, Financial Institutions, and Technology Partners to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and innovative financial solutions.
The ideal candidate will combine strong banking domain expertise, strategic thinking, and relationship-building capabilities to create long-term value through collaborative business models and ecosystem partnerships.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Partnership Development :
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic banking and financial institution partners, including Private Banks, Public Sector Banks, NBFCs, and Fintechs.
- Develop and execute joint business plans with partners, defining commercial objectives, go-to-market strategies, growth targets, and success metrics.
- Establish scalable partnership frameworks that drive mutual business growth.
Revenue Growth & Commercial Excellence :
- Drive revenue generation through partner-led, partner-sourced, and partner-influenced opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Business Development, and Pre-Sales teams to maximize pipeline creation and conversion.
- Monitor partnership performance and ensure achievement of agreed business objectives.
Solution Development & Market Innovation :
- Work with Product, Technology, and Business teams to identify opportunities for solution integration and joint value creation.
- Design innovative co-branded offerings, embedded finance solutions, and ecosystem-led propositions that address evolving customer needs.

- Support the development of differentiated market offerings through strategic collaborations.
Executive Stakeholder Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives including Managing Directors, Business Heads, Transaction Banking Leaders, Digital Banking Leaders, CFOs, and Strategy Heads.
- Act as a trusted advisor to partner organizations on business growth, digital transformation, and financial ecosystem opportunities.
- Drive executive engagement to strengthen strategic alignment and long-term collaboration.
Commercial Negotiation & Deal Structuring :
- Lead negotiations for strategic alliance agreements, commercial contracts, and partnership frameworks.
- Structure win-win commercial models while safeguarding organizational interests.
- Ensure seamless execution and governance of partnership agreements.
Market Intelligence & Ecosystem Strategy :

- Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, emerging technologies, and partnership models within the BFSI ecosystem.
- Identify new monetization opportunities, strategic collaborations, and market expansion initiatives.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership on industry dynamics and growth opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience :

- 8-12 years of experience in Strategic Partnerships, Alliance Management, Business Development, Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, or Financial Services.
- Proven success in building and managing high-value partnerships within the BFSI ecosystem.
Domain Expertise :
- Strong understanding of Banking Operations, Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management, Payments, and Digital Banking solutions.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and create commercially viable partnership models.
Commercial & Strategic Skills :

- Demonstrated track record of driving measurable business outcomes through partnerships, including revenue growth, market expansion, and solution launches.
- Experience in structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management :
- Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and business growth.
Network Advantage :
- Well-established network across Banks, NBFCs, Financial Institutions, and Fintech organizations.
- Existing relationships within the BFSI leadership community will be highly advantageous.
