Job Summary
The Senior Manager - HR at Universal AI University will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with the institutions vision, mission, and AI-driven educational approach. This leadership position will oversee HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and HR analytics, ensuring a high-performance culture that fosters innovation and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities

• Strategic HR Leadership
  

Partner with the CHRO to develop and implement HR strategies that support the universitys growth and AI-centric vision.
Drive workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development initiatives.
Ensure HR policies and practices comply with regulatory requirements and promote a diverse, inclusive, and ethical workplace.

• Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
  

Lead end-to-end recruitment for faculty, researchers, and administrative staff, ensuring alignment with the universitys AI-focused academic goals.
Develop a strong employer brand to attract top-tier talent in education, research, and technology.
Implement innovative hiring strategies, including AI-driven recruitment tools and campus hiring programs.

• Employee Engagement & Retention
  

Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and employee well-being.
Design and implement engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, feedback mechanisms, and career development pathways.
Address employee concerns, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

• Performance & Learning Development
  

Oversee performance management systems, ensuring alignment with academic and operational goals.
Identify training needs and facilitate leadership development programs, AI upskilling, and faculty training.
Promote a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.

• HR Operations & Compliance
  

Ensure smooth HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee records management.
Maintain compliance with labor laws, university policies, and accreditation standards.
Leverage HR analytics to provide data-driven insights for decision-making.

• Stakeholder Collaboration
  

Work closely with academic leaders, department heads, and senior management to align HR initiatives with institutional objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR matters, organizational design, and change management.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 10+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in higher education, ed-tech, or AI-driven organizations.
Skills
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance.
Expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
Proficiency in HRIS, data analytics, and AI-powered HR tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred: Certification in HR (SHRM, HRCI) or experience in academic HR environments.
