Job Brief:
uPay Payment Services, a self-service payment kiosk solution in the UAE, is seeking aPayment Kiosk / ATM Technician to support our warehouse operations. The role involves maintaining kiosk components, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring smooth handling of technical equipment and spare parts. The ideal candidate will have strong computer hardware experience, knowledge of chip work, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Assembling and configuring payment kiosks by integrating hardware components and related software
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues in kiosks, including hardware, software, hard disk, power supply unit, CPU, motherboard and connectivity errors.
· Maintaining kiosk hardware and software by conducting regular servicing, updates, and preventive maintenance.
· Identifying and resolving network, connectivity, and server-related issues affecting kiosk performance.
· Upgrading kiosk firmware, software applications, and outdated hardware components.
· Monitoring and maintaining kiosk security systems, ensuring they remain up-to-date and fully functional
· Providing technical support to field teams for kiosk-related errors and malfunctions.
· Performing regular system tests, software upgrades, and data backups to ensure operational reliability.
· Preparing technical reports, including error logs, maintenance activity, and service updates.
· May require bending/squatting, standing /sitting for prolonged period of time.
Skills Required:
· High school diploma or a technical/professional certification.
· Experience in a warehouse environment handling computers or electronic equipment.
· Core knowledge of computers or inventory management systems.
· Ability to troubleshoot and handle computer/kiosk components is an advantage.
· Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
· Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 25–30 kgs.
· Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of a team.
· Willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Location: Al Barsha 1
Working Day: 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Saturday
Salary: 2000-3000AED
Visa and other benefits will be according to UAE law.
