Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled and experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in designing and implementing robust data pipelines, executing data migration projects, and working with Microsoft Azure data platforms. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless data integration, transformation, and delivery for enterprise-level solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Development: You will be responsible for building, monitoring, and optimizing data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to support data ingestion and transformation processes.
Database Development: Your role will involve writing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL/T-SQL scripts, including stored procedures, functions, and views to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
Data Migration Projects: You will lead and execute end-to-end data migration projects, including requirements gathering, mapping, transformation, and validation.
Collaboration: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data architects, analysts, and developers, to deliver scalable data solutions aligned with business objectives.
Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation for data pipelines, transformations, and migration processes is also a key aspect of this role.
Key Qualifications
Experience: You should have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with expertise in Azure Data Factory.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SQL/T-SQL scripting, stored procedures, and functions is required. Familiarity with Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance, and Microsoft SQL Server is essential.

Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and address performance bottlenecks is necessary.
Preferred Skills
Experience with other Azure data services (e.g., Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Data Lake) is a plus. Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and methodologies is beneficial. Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools is advantageous. Understanding of data security and compliance best practices is preferred.
