Technology Engineer (DevOps PaaS - Openshift Admin)

Location - Bangalore (5 Days WFO)

Experience Level - 7+ yrs

Notice Period - immediate to 30 days.

Primary Skillset - DevOps (50%) + Python (50%)

Experience

NetDevOps DevOps Engineer -: DevOps expert building automation backbone for network engineering operations.

Not a traditional network role youll be the DevOps half of NetDevOps partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build/maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins with custom Groovy libraries

- Deploy/manage applications on OpenShift (Kubernetes) using Helm charts

- Support GitOps workflows enabling network engineer self-service

- Write Python/Bash automation tooling

- Code review, debug pipeline failures, document processes

Must-Have Requirements:

- Jenkins expertise with Groovy scripting (non-negotiable)

- 5+ years Python development (production-quality)

- 5+ years DevOps/platform engineering experience

- Git proficiency, Linux/Bash scripting

- Self-motivated with strong written English skills Tech Stack: Jenkins/Groovy, Python, OpenShift/K8s, Helm, Ansible, Nexus, Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana Success Metrics:

- 30 days: Fix broken pipelines, update critical apps

- 90 days: GitOps workflows operational, engineers using confidently

- 6-12 months: Full automation maturity, stable toolchain

Work Environment: 10-person team, Kanban methodology, daily standups, async-first culture (Teams), periodic on-call rotation (weekly/bi-weekly). Strong impact opportunity rebuilding critical capability for network operations at scale.
