Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the Director – Finance in consolidating and presenting financial and business data for investor reporting, and in building the organisations readiness for a future Initial Public Offering (IPO). The role involves close coordination across Finance, Accounts, Legal and business teams to compile accurate, timely and audit-ready data, financial models, MIS reports and disclosures required for existing as well as prospective investors and prospective IPO due diligence. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, the ability to handle confidential data responsibly, and the discipline to work to tight reporting timelines.
Key Responsibilities, Deliverables / Outcomes
Investor Data Collation & Reporting: Collect, consolidate and validate financial and operational data from various departments (Accounts, Sales, HR, Operations) to prepare periodic investor reports, board packs and MIS dashboards for the Director – Finance.
IPO Readiness Support: Assist in preparing and organising financial statements, schedules, disclosures and supporting documentation required for IPO due diligence, in coordination with auditors, legal counsel, merchant bankers and IPO consultants.
Data Room Management: Build, maintain and continuously update a well-organised financial / legal data room for investor and IPO due diligence purposes, ensuring version control and confidentiality.
Financial Analysis & MIS: Prepare variance analysis, trend analysis, KPI trackers and financial models / schedules to support investor queries and management decision-making.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal stakeholders (Accounts, CEO Office, Global Leadership team) and external parties (auditors, bankers, consultants) to ensure timely and accurate data flow.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure accuracy, consistency and confidentiality across all investor and IPO-related documentation; support adherence to applicable listing / regulatory requirements.
Presentation Support: Assist in preparing investor presentations, fact sheets and Q&A briefs for management and Board meetings.
Process Improvement: Help standardise templates and processes for recurring investor reporting to improve turnaround time and accuracy.
Key Skills
Strong working knowledge of financial statements and accounting concepts (IFRS / applicable local GAAP)
Working knowledge of the IPO process, due diligence requirements and stock exchange listing norms is an added advantage
Advanced MS Excel (financial modelling, data consolidation, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
Hands-on experience with ERP / accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho) for data extraction and reconciliation
Ability to build and maintain structured, version-controlled data rooms and documentation.
