Credit Risk Underwriter

What role you will play in team: You will be a crucial member of our credit risk team, assessing the creditworthiness of loan applicants for housing finance.

What you will do: You will analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to determine the risk associated with each loan application.

Key responsibility:

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess credit risk.
• Evaluate loan applications and determine eligibility based on established credit risk guidelines.
• Prepare credit reports and recommendations for loan approval or rejection.
• Maintain accurate records of all credit risk assessments and decisions.

  Collaborate with other team members to improve credit risk management processes and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in credit risk management regulations and best practices.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of credit risk management principles and techniques.
• Experience with credit scoring models and systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
