This position is critical for Varian business unit of Siemens Healthineers company to support all finance systems and drive accounting integration and automation projects. The person hired for the position will be responsible for supporting accounting and finance systems projects by analyzing complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. The incumbent provides financial and Planning technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet accounting and finance system requirements. This person is expected to closely coordinate with Accounting, FP&A and other departments as Business System analyst. The candidate is expected to coordinate with local accounting managers, corporate functions and with IT deployment teams to enable integrated financials operations. The candidate may possess technical accounting FP&A knowledge, understanding of accounting business processes, and demonstrate a drive to deploy best possible solutions. This is a global role and person is expected to work with people across different business units and geographies.

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility is to work closely with business and IT teams to support all finance systems and understand and document the requirements, process flows, test proposed solutions for new initiatives and bridge the gap between controllers and IT implementation specialists.

• Support all Financial systems mainly SAP and Jedox (P&L planning and cost center planning)

• Define business requirements by working with finance and accounting controllers.
• Analyze and document issues and/or requirements and contribute to cost effective solutions in the areas of finance and accounting by testing the solutions.
• Develop test scenarios, process flow, test plans & other documentation.
• Validate SAP finance data conversions, system enhancements & any development for financial and operational integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree with a focus on Finance or Accounting or Economics or other relevant fields with 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Exposure to SAP ECC 6.0 OR SAP S/4 HANA with focus on SAP FICO modules
• Should have exposure to other financial systems like Jedox, Blackline, or Trintech etc.,

  Get Hired
  Implementation experience in Jedox and/or SAP FICO is desirable
• Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates business specifications, process flows for systems to meet business requirements
• Good communication skills in a global environment to drive necessary changes for accounting and FP&A process improvements.
