Job Summary:

We are looking an experienced System Administrator & Infrastructure Specialist with 2+ years of relevant experience to take full ownership of our on-premises and hybrid IT environments. The ideal candidate will manage all facets of infrastructurefrom hardware procurement and maintenance to networking, Windows Active Directory, Linux servers, and ERP application hosting & Support. This role requires someone who can work independently, lead a small team of administrators, engage with stakeholders, and provide training as needed. Flexibility for rotational shifts based on project requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in system administration and infrastructure management.

- Expertise in hardwarelifecyclemanagement (servers, storage arrays, rack equipment) and troubleshooting physical components.

- Strong knowledge of networkingtechnologies: routing, switching, VLANs, VPN, firewalls (e.g., Fortinet).

- In-depth experience with WindowsServer environments (2012R2/2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/services management.

- Solid proficiency in Linuxadministration (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu), including package management (YUM/APT), shell scripting (Bash), user/group management, and security hardening.

- Hands-on experience hosting and managing ERPand

- Familiarity with virtualizationplatforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).

- Strong understanding of backup,disasterrecovery,andbusinesscontinuity methodologies (e.g., Veeam).

- Experience with storagesystems (SAN/NAS) and familiarity with iSCSI/NFS protocols.

- Proficiency in database fundamentals (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) to support underlying ERP and file services.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

- Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800/AZ-801) or MCSE in Windows Server
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS)
• ITIL Foundation (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Hardware Management:

• Procure, install, and configure physical servers, storage arrays, racks, and peripherals.
• Perform regular firmware/BIOS updates, hardware health checks, and component replacements as needed.
• Maintain asset inventory and coordinate vendor support (warranties, RMA, SLAs).
• Ensure proper cable management, labeling, and power/cooling optimization in data centers and server rooms.

Networking & Security:

• Design, configure, and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance and security posture, troubleshoot connectivity issues, latency, and packet loss.
• Enforce network security policies, firewall rule-sets, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Windows Server & Active Directory Administration:

• Deploy, maintain, and optimize Windows Server instances (2012R2/2016/2019/2022), including patch management and service packs.
• Manage Active Directory Domain Services: user/computer account lifecycle, OU structure, Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, and DHCP.

• Configure and support file servers, print servers, and Windows clustering (DFS-R, DFS- Namespaces).
• Implement security hardening (e.g., account policies, LAPS, BitLocker, Windows Firewall baselines) in accordance with ISO 27001 guidelines.

Linux Server Administration:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) to support middleware, application, and database tiers.
• Perform package updates, kernel upgrades, and security patching using YUM/APT; automate routine tasks via Bash scripting.
• Manage user authentication (LDAP/SSSD), file permissions, quotas, and system resource monitoring (top, sar, vmstat).
• Configure and harden SSH, SELinux/ iptables/Firewalld, and other security controls.

Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:

• Design, implement, and test backup strategies for critical servers, databases, and applications using tools like Veeam.
• Maintain and periodically test disaster recovery procedures (replication, failover drills) to ensure RTO/RPO objectives are met.
• Document and update runbooks, SOPs, and recovery checklists; train team members on emergency response protocols.

Data Center & On-Premises DC Management:

• Oversee daily operations of the data center, including environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity) and UPS/Generator health.
• Coordinate vendor visits for maintenance (cleaning CRAC units, replacing UPS batteries, preventive hardware checks).
• Manage access control to server rooms, enforce security policies and ISO 27001 physical security requirements.

Cloud Administration (Advantages):

• Manage and maintain Azure/AWS infrastructure, including virtual machines, networks, storage accounts, and other cloud resources.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and cost- efficiency.
• Implement and manage identity and access management solutions.
• Handle backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure/AWS services and resources.
• Implement security policies, RBAC, and network security measures.
• Utilize monitoring tools and Azure cost management to oversee cloud environments.
• Strong Knowledge in AKS/EKS, Docker
