Job Description
- This role will be based in our Indore office 5 days a week.
As a Software Development Manager, you will be part of a leadership team responsible for coaching and mentoring talented software developers working in an agile SaaS environment. You will directly impact and influence product delivery, team growth, and employee engagement. Our developer-focused team culture encourages our engineers to be self-motivated and self-directed. We value leadership and people with passion who will take ownership to make their mark on our product within this growing business space.
Lead, coach, and grow a team of developers through 1:1s, feedback, and career planning. Own team health, engagement, and performance, ensuring a culture of trust and accountability. Partner with Product and Architecture to shape roadmaps and ensure technical alignment. Guide the team through delivery of complex projects, balancing efficiency and quality. Support engineers in making sound technical decisions, without being the primary problem-solver. Drive hiring, onboarding, and succession planning for your team. Collaborate with peers and cross-functional leaders to improve how we build and deliver software. Champion inclusion, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
Does this sound like you :
- 2+ years managing developers as direct reports, including 1:1s, performance reviews, and career growth planning.
- 10 - 15 years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript or Java preferred.
- Proven ability to build and sustain high-trust, high-performing teams.
- Experience coaching engineers through making architectural and delivery decisions.
- Track record of delivering complex SaaS projects in an agile environment.
- Skilled at partnering with Product and Architecture to shape team and departmental roadmaps.
