Marketing Analyst (L1/L2)
Job Summary
Be a part of our dynamic team as a Marketing Analyst focused on Performance Marketing and become the driving force for our paid user acquisition funnels and campaign performance data. As a strategic operator, youll be at the forefront of shaping how our users experience and engage with our advertising and media, present insights and strategies in optimizing campaign spend and conversion rates, and improving overall marketing efficiency (ROI/ROAS).
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of performance marketing campaigns data (e.g., paid social, search, display) to derive actionable insights.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of acquisition strategies and media channels through quantitative analysis.

- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in key performance metrics (CPA, CTR, CVR, LTV).

- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for user acquisition and growth initiatives.

- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and spend against established KPIs and budget targets.

- Provide regular reports to relevant stakeholders on campaign success, budget pacing, and areas for improvement.

- Create visually compelling dashboards and reports to visualize performance data.

- Translate complex data findings into easily understandable visualizations for non-technical stakeholders.

- Utilize data to identify and define target audience segments for effective ad targeting and personalization.

- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to tailor ad copy and creative assets based on audience characteristics and behavior.

- Design and execute A/B tests to assess the impact of different campaign structures, bidding strategies, and creative variations.

- Analyze test results to inform future channel investment decisions and optimize performance.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness in all performance marketing datasets.

- Work closely with all stakeholders to align data analysis efforts with overall business growth goals.

- Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making across different teams.

- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in performance marketing, media buying, data analysis, reporting, and measurement.

- Effectively communicate data findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Identify challenges and opportunities through data analysis.
Requirements
- Work experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role.

- Power user of Excel, good knowledge of SQL (Working knowledge of R or Python, added advantage).

- Strong understanding of how to structure analyses to solve real-world business problems.

- Ability to understand product ecosystems, user behaviors, and market trends.

- Ability to identify key metrics and create KPIs for the same.

- Ability to structure and analyze A/B tests.

- Self-motivated with excellent communication, collaborative, and problem-solving skills.

- Relevant experience in managing and optimizing paid digital marketing campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads) for a D2C business.

- Exposure in BFSI/Fintech would be an advantage.
