Position: Business Development Manager - Bare Wire & Copper Rod/PICC/PIAC/MPCC (Domestic Market)
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reporting To: Business Development Head
Location: Vithal Udyognagar, Anand, Gujarat
Market Coverage: PAN India
Travel: Extensive Domestic Travel Required
Position Summary
The role focuses on developing new customers, managing key accounts, expanding distribution networks, and increasing revenue in industries such as cable manufacturing, transformer manufacturing, electrical equipment manufacturing, and industrial applications.
The incumbent will play a key role in expanding the companys market share, strengthening relationships with OEM customers, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Market Expansion
    • Identify and develop new customers across PAN India.
    • Expand the companys presence in cable, transformer, and electrical manufacturing industries.
    • Identify potential OEM customers, distributors, and industrial buyers.
    • Develop strategies to increase market penetration and customer base.
  • Sales & Revenue Generation
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Company Products .
    • Generate enquiries, prepare quotations, and convert them into confirmed orders.
    • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and order book.
    • Prepare sales forecasts and growth plans.
  • Key Account Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing key customers and OEM clients.
    • Conduct regular customer visits for technical discussions and business reviews.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Channel Development
    • Identify and appoint distributors and dealers in new regions.
    • Strengthen the companys distribution network across India.
    • Monitor channel partner performance and market coverage.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis
    • Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market demand.
    • Collect and analyse market intelligence and customer feedback.
    • Provide recommendations for pricing strategies and market expansion.
  • Tendering & Project Business
    • Identify opportunities in power sector projects, and industrial infrastructure projects.
    • Participate in tender submissions and commercial negotiations.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals.
  • Internal Coordination

    • Coordinate with Production, PPC, Quality, Dispatch, and Finance departments.
    • Ensure timely order processing, delivery schedules, and payment follow-ups.
  • Sales Reporting & MIS
    • Maintain customer database, enquiry tracking, and order conversion records.
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
    • Present sales performance and market updates to management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • Sales revenue growth in Company products
    • New customer acquisition
    • Enquiry-to-order conversion ratio
    • Market penetration across regions
    • Customer retention and repeat orders
Educational Qualifications
    • MBA in Marketing/Sales/Business Administration (Preferred) OR
    • B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements
    • 7-10 years of experience in B2B sales in copper, aluminium, cable, conductor, or electrical manufacturing industry.
    • Experience in dealing with OEM customers and industrial buyers.
    • Prior exposure to Similar Products or cable raw material sales will be an advantage.
Travel Requirements
Frequent travel across PAN India for customer visits, plant visits, and business development activities.
